At YMCA Mill Hollow, we ask a RN (or higher) to volunteer in our Health Center each week. In return, the Volunteer Nurses can have their children come up to camp for free! We ask the Volunteer for the week to arrive on-site between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM on Sunday, the first day of their project. This year's Sunday schedule is as follows: 11:30am - 12:30pm: Arrival (received by Health Coordinator), getting settled in your housing 12:30pm - 1:30pm: Attend all-staff meeting, introduce yourself to the team 1:30pm - 2:30pm: Prepare for check-in with Health Coordinator (at this time, your campers will go with their assigned counselors for the week) 2:30pm - 4:30pm: Check-in meds with the Health Coordinator 4:30pm - 5:00pm: finalize check-in and prepare for health checks 5:00pm - 6:00pm: Perform med checks (temp, lice, feet, signs and symptoms of illness) 6:00pm - E.O.D. Enjoy dinner and the things camp has to offer.

This role will work with youth and staff in a medical capacity. There may be exposure to Blood Born Pathogens, viruses, infections and other medical risks.
