YMCA of Northern Utah
Join us at YMCA Camp Roger for a day of volunteering to help reset the trails and area around camp from the fire prevention measures taken in response to the Yellow Lake Fire last fall. YMCA Camp Roger aims to be a place where campers come to experience a fun, challenge-by-choice environment where they are supported by individuals who keep them safe at all times. Your work will help us to ensure we are meeting this goal as you assist our Camp Director with trail and brush clearing, firewood prep, and getting Camp Roger ready for the summer! Children ages 13+ are welcome to volunteer as long as they're accompanied by a guardian. Guardians should create a Volunteer Matters account for the child/children and sign up on their behalf. Please wear pants and closed-toed shoes. If you have work gloves you like, please bring those as well. Additional written directions to YMCA Camp Roger will be sent out to all volunteers before the volunteer experience. If you have any questions, please reach out to our volunteer team at volunteer@ymcautah.org or our Director of YMCA Camp Roger, Jake Green at jgreen@ymcautah.org
