In YMCA Preschool Programs, we believe in nurturing young minds and bodies in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. Our licensed preschools offer a comprehensive early childhood education curriculum designed to foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. With a focus on play-based learning, our experienced educators provide personalized attention to each child, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning! As a Preschool Program Volunteer, you’ll assist YMCA staff in organizing fun activities like story time, arts and crafts, play-based learning, and outdoor play. Schedule – Our Salt Lake Preschool Program runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Flexible scheduling – we’ll work with you to determine a volunteer schedule based on your availability! Program Participants – Our Preschool Program participants range in age from 2 – 5. Location – Taylorsville YMCA Community Family Center Required Volunteer Credentials – Interview (phone or video), CCL Background Check, Reference Check, Online Training Course, YMCA Policy Agreements No prior education/childcare experience required!
